Scouting at St. Pius

 The many Scouting programs at St. Pius X offer boys and girls an opportunity for learning and adventure in a fun, safe environment.

Cub Scouts (for 1st-5th grade boys) is handled through the school and Boy Scout Troop 157 is chartered to St. Pius X Church, and includes a Venturing program.  

From campouts and pack-ins to the annual "Scouting for Food" drive, the scouting programs at St. Pius are a great way to teach your young adventurer skills for a lifetime.

Troop 157 Eagle Scouts News

Matthew Lutz designed and built a beautiful crushed granite walkway accompanied by a reflection bench for our St. Pius parish. It is located in between the basketball court and St. Pius School.  Jacob Ramos built a flag pole structure for the students and parishioners of Holy Family Catholic Church on Nogales St. The permanent structure will be utilized to fly the American flag for both the students and parishioners of Holy Family.  Benjamin Toren will be recognized as a 2017 Eagle Scout at the annual Eagle Scout Banquet this Saturday, February 24th at the Continuing Education Center for Economic Development on the Del Mar campus.  Benjamin designed and built 14 Stations of the Cross for the residents at The Villa Senior Retirement Village on Saratoga.  A.J. Valverde was awarded the James E. West and the Founders Award at the January 13th Order of the Arrow Founders Banquet.
