Scouting at St. Pius

 The many Scouting programs at St. Pius X offer boys and girls an opportunity for learning and adventure in a fun, safe environment.

Cub Scouts (for 1st-5th grade boys) is handled through the school and Boy Scout Troop 157 is chartered to St. Pius X Church, and includes a Venturing program.  

From campouts and pack-ins to the annual "Scouting for Food" drive, the scouting programs at St. Pius are a great way to teach your young adventurer skills for a lifetime.

Scouts from Troop 157 participated in a camping weekend to Inks Lake State Park. Scouts worked on merit badges in various fields such as fishing, hiking , and cooking. The annual week long Boy Scout summer camp at Camp Karankawa in Mathis is scheduled for this June. Boys will be able to continue and complete Scout requirements and merit badges for various rank advancements.



Scout fun at Bowlero

Several boys from Troop 157 were treated to bowling at Bowlero Monday April 30th. This was a reward for the countless hours the boys spent selling popcorn last year for the Aransas and Rockport Boy Scout Troops.
